1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing plumberskamloops.ca or booking plumbing services with us, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services. These terms apply to all visitors, clients, and anyone who contacts us through our site or by phone. We may update these terms from time to time — continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
2. About Our Services
Plumbers Kamloops provides residential and commercial plumbing services in Kamloops, BC, and the surrounding Thompson-Nicola region. This includes:
- Emergency plumbing repairs (24/7)
- Drain cleaning, hydro jetting, and sewer line services
- Water heater repair, replacement, and installation
- Leak detection, pipe repair, and water line replacement
- Basement waterproofing, sump pumps, and drainage systems
- Commercial plumbing for offices, restaurants, and multi-unit buildings
- Gas line installation, repair, and inspection
- Kitchen and bathroom renovation plumbing
All work is performed by BC-licensed plumbers in accordance with the British Columbia Plumbing Code and local regulations.
3. Service Quotes and Estimates
Phone and online estimates are based on the information you provide and are meant to give you a general idea of cost. The actual price may vary depending on the complexity of the job, accessibility, materials required, and unforeseen conditions discovered during the work. We always provide a written quote on-site before starting any work that exceeds the initial estimate. You are never obligated to proceed — if the quote does not work for you, you can decline with no charge for the visit (diagnostic fees may apply for complex inspections).
4. Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, cheque, Interac e-Transfer, and major credit cards. Commercial clients may qualify for net-30 billing with approved credit. We do not collect payment information through this website — all billing is handled directly between you and our technician or office. Late payments may incur a 1.5% monthly service charge. Returned cheques incur a $25 NSF fee.
5. Workmanship Warranty
We stand behind our work with the following warranty coverage:
- Workmanship: 1 year on all plumbing installations and repairs performed by our technicians
- Materials: Manufacturer warranty on all parts and fixtures we supply (typically 1–5 years depending on the product)
- Drain cleaning: 30-day guarantee — if the same drain clogs again within 30 days, we will return and clear it at no charge
- Waterproofing: 5-year written warranty on foundation crack injections and perimeter drain installations
Warranty claims must be reported within the warranty period. The warranty covers defects in our work but does not cover damage caused by misuse, natural disasters, or work performed by other contractors after our service.
6. Emergency Service Terms
Our 24/7 emergency line is staffed by real people — not an answering service. When you call after hours, we dispatch the nearest available technician. Emergency rates apply to calls outside of regular business hours (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM) and on statutory holidays. We will always inform you of the emergency rate before dispatching. If you decline, we can schedule the work for the next business day at standard rates.
7. Website Content and Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, images, service descriptions, and the Plumbers Kamloops logo — is our intellectual property and is protected by copyright. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or republish any content from this site without our written permission. You are welcome to link to our pages and share our content on social media with proper attribution.
8. Limitation of Liability
While we take every precaution to protect your property during service, we are not liable for pre-existing damage, structural issues, or conditions that were not visible or disclosed at the time of service. Our total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. We carry $5M in liability insurance for your protection.
9. Cancellations and Rescheduling
We understand plans change. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 24 hours notice. Same-day cancellations may incur a $75 fee, as we reserve that time slot specifically for you. For emergency calls that are cancelled after dispatch, a minimum dispatch fee of $150 applies to cover travel time and technician availability.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada. Any disputes arising from our services will be resolved in the courts of Kamloops, BC. We always prefer to resolve issues directly and amicably — call us before anything else.
